Your right to delete your account and data

Your Rights

You have the right to request deletion of your CutQ account and associated personal data at any time. Once your account is deleted, all your personal information will be permanently removed from our systems.

This includes your profile information, booking history, and any other data linked to your account.

How to Request Account Deletion

There are two ways to delete your CutQ account:

1 Delete via the App

Open the CutQ app, go to your Profile, then tap Settings. Scroll down and tap Delete Account. Follow the prompts to confirm deletion.

2 Request via Email

Send an email to info@cutq.co.za with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include the email address associated with your account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we remove:

  • Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
  • Your booking history
  • Saved preferences and settings
  • Any reviews you have written

Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you want to use CutQ again, you will need to create a new account.

Processing Time

In-app deletion requests are processed immediately. Email requests are typically processed within 48 hours during business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your account has been deleted.
